Project Kanyaru: Fairness English Speech Collection

Data collected will be used to train and develop artificial intelligence algorithms behind voice recognition technologies.

In this project you would use the Appen Mobile application to create and record phrases in English in different scenarios.

Requirements

• This task should be completed in one sitting and should take around one to two hours.
• The entire session of recording MUST be completed while the participant is physically in the US or its territories. Participants should NOT use VPN, proxy, TOR or such tools while recording.
• You need complete the whole task only once.
• ​Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

• This project has a task rate and not an hourly rate.
• ​The payment rate you see is only for the full completion of all tasks once accepted following the quality-checking phase.
